Our Rockin Summer

So, for my birthday/mother's day, Cory totally surprised me with the biggest gift EVER- WICKED TICKETS!!!!!! I don't know how he did it because the tickets had been sold out months before and he had no access to them, but he somehow did it! It was so incredible. Best play I've ever been to and I am still rocking out to the music. I can't believe how good Cory is to me!!

My mom got in a freak horse accident right before Mother's Day and was in the hospital for over a week. It made us all consider our health and blessings. It made us all recognize our love and admiration for her. She was really beat up but I am proud to report, she is back in the saddle again now. We feel really blessed because the accident could have been so much worse. I know she was watched over that day and I am very grateful.
While my mom was in the hospital, my horse "Kazi" had her baby!!!!!! My mom is usually the expert and takes care of all the vet stuff when the babies are born at the ranch, but this time Clay and I were forced to grow up a bit and do it on our own. It was amazing. Births of any kind are always miracles, but this was extra special for some reason. I got up really early to check on Kazi and there on the ground was the baby, just barely born- only moments old. I ran into the house to get Clay- it was bitter cold. We only had a few scary moments, but the baby was absolutely perfect.
Clay is incredible- I never cease to be impressed by how competent and wonderful he is.

I know this is crazy, but I felt a little like a grandma because Kazi is my horse and it was her baby- crazy.

My mom still hasn't officially decided on a name for her. I like to call her "Little Miss Spice" but we are open for any suggestions. She is growing up to be a gorgeous, happy, sweet little lady.

The girls did soccer this spring and were on the same team. This probably wasn't the best idea. The competitive tendencies really came out and it was hard for Ash to keep up with her sister who has already played for 3 seasons. I won't put them on the same team again. But it was really fun to watch them when they cooperated with eachother!! We also had the broschinsky's on our team and that was really fun.

I was officially the coach, but Cory coached on Saturdays when I had my own soccer games. The girls told me multiple times that he was their favorite coach. :)

Jenasi graduated from preschool... that was a bit weird, but she is totally ready for Kindergarten!! We absolutely love Teacher Pat- I don't know anyone else who has so much love and patience for 3 and 4 year olds!!! She is amazing and we are blessed to have her for preschool!!

At the year end party, Jenasi was picked by the Magician to be a helper. She felt really special and was really funny with him. She loves being the center of attention!!

My Cousin Whittney and TJ got married!!!! What a beautiful ceremony and reception!!! WOW, these two are amazing and will have a wonderful happily ever after. :)

Well, the pictures aren't uploading, so I will have to do more later. Hope everyone is doing well :)

So, the next huge thing this year- Sierra Addison Christiansen was born!!! Finally a cousin on the Christiansen side!!!! Way to go Clay and Lacey- She is an absolute angel. :)

Easter was a blast. First the hunt at Grandma Marilyn's ...

the girls felt pretty special in their Easter dresses.

Crystal and I, sisters rock

There is always a water fight at Grandma Marilyn's hunt- JJ is just like me- never afraid of a good water fight!!

The Hunt at the Noss' is spectacular- eggs with actual money in them!!!! Needless to say, the girls really got into it this year.

Except Ci-ci, she was more interested in the swinging.
Thanks Grandma and Opa for such a spectacular Easter. You guys really know how to make things special, memorable and fun. :)

Yeah, I am going to catch up- just watch!!

Some catching up to do!!!!

So, I wanted to update this blog before it had been a full year since my last post- AHHHH~!!!! Can life really be this crazy busy?!?!?!?! Well, here we go... the highlights for the Noss family and I am leaving out tons!! Oh well-

Crystal, my amazing photographing protegy of a sister, agreed to get pics of my girls in the wedding dresses they wore for Shelby and Scott's wedding and in their Cheetah Dresses (becasue they are my favorite!!!)-

Halloween was such a blast- my girls love to dress up, and I do too!! Jenasi was Tinkerbell, Ashlyn was Princess Aurora, and Cienna was a little princess too.
We always try to make the rounds to all of the family. It is so fun to go see the Judge on Halloween.

Jenasi's preschool had their parade around the neighborhood

The zoo is a halloween tradition, and Grandma Sherri was there, along with the Noss'. It was so fun- the animals were very active because everyone was dressed up. The kids had so much fun. Ashlyn insisted on wearing those plastic high heels that go with her sleeping beauty costume, and you could hear her click clicking the whole way through the zoo.

We visited Grandma Beula who the girls ADORE!!

We saw Grandma Marilyn and Grandpa Quack-quack

and do you think they love their uncle Clint?
We can't go trick or treating and not stop off at Uncle Scott and Aunt Tracy's house!!!!

Grandma and Grandpa Noss always have Chili and Candy!!!!! So awesome-

The girls and I, we love Halloween. Cory is a good sport to put up with us!!!

My brother, who is my best friend, my confidante, and who I am so blessed to have as such a huge part of my life, got sealed for time and all eternity with his incredible wife Lacey in the Timpanogos temple. These two are truly amazing and I love them through and through. I could not be happier for their little family- Together Forever :)

Baby Mia was born on Cory's Birthday, Dec. 21st!!!!! She is absolutely perfect and she can make a person baby hungry faster than any baby I have ever held. She is such an angel. Congrats Lauri and Tyler :)
Christmas was fabulous!!! It was so fun to spend so much time with our families and to create some fun memories with our own little ones. We are abundantly blessed and grateful.

These are the absolutely exquisite bed spreads Grandma Noss made for the girls. They are masterpieces!!!!! WOW!!!!

New Years up at my parents in Park City was a blast. We finally got to build the snowman JJ was begging us to build all winter. Cory helped heave up the big snow balls and the girls found the eyes buttons and smile :) Grandma Sherri always has carrots and of course Grandpa T had to add a Ute hat to top off our masterpiece!! It was loads of fun. The girls didn't even complain about being cold or tired- They are getting so big. They loved sledding down Grandma Sherri's perfect sledding hill.

This was Ashlyn's first Sunday as a Sunbeam!!! Good-bye Nursery and watch out Primary!!!

We had a birthday party for Ashlyn at Carl's Jr.- isn't it easy when they are 3!!!

We love parties!!!! Never too much birthday celebrating.

Valentines is always one of my favorite holidays. It is always great to have an excuse to tell those you love how important they are to you!! And, the girls think it is fabulous to get and send cards :) and of course dress up

it is so hard to get all the girls to look at the camera at the same time, let alone smile!!!
I even attempted some cute heart hairstyles I found- it is fun to have girls. :)

Cory, is my one and only true love. We had a great valentines day!!! I love you Cory!!!

Well... later that night, in the middle of peaceful sleep, our shelf above our head fell BAM ontop of our heads. I am grateful Cory has a much bigger head than mine!!! He took the hit for both of us. We ended up at the ER in the middle of the night.

Now Cory has a tough scar right on his forehead- yeah, its pretty hot!!

Well, my Dad decided we all needed to go to the Boys II Men concert at Wendover- AHHHHH YEAH !!!!!!! Who knew Wendover was so fun!!!!!

We spent the night and so did Clay and Lacey. We have got to return soon- Good Times!!

Ashlyn is a nut and she keeps us laughing all the time.
Jenasi had a star party for her birthday and she only wanted girls at her party. I don't know how long that will last, but I like it!!

I even branched out and made a star cake!!!

Well, I made it from October to March, hopefully I can catch up the rest of the way soon. Sorry it has been so long since I've blogged. Don't give up on me. I am totally a work in progress :)
